SunMoksha’s utilizes its decade-rich experience in renewable energy to implement Living Laboratories on campuses. Here state-of-the-art technologies are available to set up real-life working solutions on renewable energy and energy efficiency; be it energy usage and generation, smart microgrid, or water usage and quality, and thereby provide hands-on training to professionals, teachers, and trainers. The laboratory also uses a variety of sensors to monitor the air, water and land parameters for big data analytics. The overall objective is to provide a test-bed and development center for technologies, products, and applications across the sustainable applications. Bench-top experimental set-ups are also implemented to learn and explore renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions, together with a focused curriculum on these disciplines.
Research activities and sustainable clubs are keys to attain the goals of green campus. Research projects that seek to enhance and expand the current understanding of ecosystem, sustainable resource use, cutting edge renewable energy technologies, air and water quality solutions, biodiversity, and ecosystem services are implemented round the year. SunMoksha’s Living Lab, a unique technology offering, supports the institution and also helps the students gain skills. Smart living lab provides infrastructure to train and skill human resources and effectively roll out skill development programs.
