Smart Green Campus

A Smart Green Campus demonstrates its commitment to ecological sustainability through academic programs, research, campus life, and physical operations with the goal to achieve “zero-water-waste-energy” through “digitally connected services”. It encompasses seamless integration of IoT-based smart devices and communication. It provides real-time information on the utilization of campus resources and its operations such as renewable energy for electricity/cooking, energy efficiency, smart microgrid, water usage and conservation, waste management, waste-to-energy conversion, land & soil management, and a campus replete with greenery.

SunMoksha provides a comprehensive package to develop Smart Green Campus with zero-water-waste-energy approach. The journey starts with auditing and monitoring of resource usage, and it is well known that “If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it”. Measuring, monitoring, auditing and control of energy, water, air and waste in real time are the first steps towards saving and managing resources, followed by analysis of data to understand resource consumption pattern and behavior. SunMoksha enables all this through a comprehensive cloud-based solution, NanoSoft Remote.

Data analysis points to areas that need reduction in consumption and waste generation, and eventually implement renewable energy for electricity and thermal applications. Moreover, SunMoksha sets up Living Renewable Energy Lab and Centre of Excellence in Renewable Energy to support the faculty, students, entrepreneurs, and companies for continuous learning and R&D.
